Sharkies Leagues Club will host Aussie folk icon Wendy Matthews this coming ANZAC Day weekend.
Headlining the weekend’s entertainment, Matthews will take to the stage at 8pm on Friday, April 24, to perform hits such as “The Day You Went Away” and “Stand Strong”.
As part of the weekend events, Sharkies will be hosting a round of “Two Up” on ANZAC Day on Saturday afternoon. This will include Australia’s traditional ANZAC Day pastime, the ANZAC March live from the Sydney CBD, along with free party pies and sausage rolls. All this to be followed by the INXS Tribute band at 7pm that night.
The weekend rounds out with festivities carrying onto the Locker Room when the Cronulla Sharks take on the Penrith Panthers at Pepper Stadium, Penrith at 2pm Sunday
