The Sharks will be out and about visiting local schools in the Sutherland Shire once again in 2015 as a part of the annual Community Carnival which sees Sharks NRL players along with NRL Game Development Officers spreading positive healthy living messages and promoting the sport of rugby league.
Scheduled for February 9 next year, the Community Carnival will see the Sharks visit more than 20 schools and interact with over 6,000 students, all in the one day.
Schools can register their interest now in having the Sharks drop by for what is a half-hour session involving an educational-type presentation on WELLBEING and key healthy living messages relating to Physical Activity, Nutrition and Mental Wellness.
The presentation will highlight regular physical activity and good nutrition are key contributors to mental wellness, with young people who live lifestyles where diet and exercise are a priority enjoying improved mental health.
